SWEETHEART LUNCHEON 2008

The Point To Point Chapter of the American Needlepoint Guild (ANG), invites you to join us on Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Rodgers Senior Center, 1706 Orange Avenue (Corner of 17^th St. and Orange Ave), Huntington Beach, CA.

Nancy Cucci will be teaching My Beading Heart, her original design (taught at ANG’s Seminar 2007 – Baltimore, MD.)  It is a bright, glitzy heart that explores the use of beads in decorative needlepoint stitches.  Outlined with Kreinik metallic and accented with size 11 and 14 seed beads, it is stitched with floss on 18-count canvas that has been line drawn.  Stitches in the patchwork design include bargello, Hungarian ground, pavilion diamond, reversed Scotch, slanted Gobelin, double stitch, mosaic stripe, brick stitch, and criss-cross Hungarian. 

Your $65 admission includes the Kit (stitch guide, threads and marked canvas), Teaching fee and Box Lunch.  Opportunity tickets for $1 each or 6 for $5 will be available for pickup or purchase on the day of the event.

Participants should bring 9” x 9” stretcher bars and the usual stitching supplies.

Limited seating – Point To Point members will be given priority registration until Ocober 1, 2007.
